Digging in to Late Locate Solutions

Late locates cause a number of disruptions in the public right of way.   From costlier construction to traffic jams to damage to utilities, a locate performed late can cost ratepayers and eat up your budget.  In December 2019, twenty five industry experts met to discuss and create solutions to these problems.  Come learn what initial steps we’re all taking.

Having achieved numerous positions in the Damage Prevention Industry since 2006 – most of them with Ontario One Call – Jeff Hitchcock has an intricate knowledge of the Damage Prevention system.

His experience with Ontario One Call has taken him from: a call taker to the first full time Trainer; to the Team Leader on a midnight team; to the team leader behind registering all infrastructure with Ontario One Call after the passage of the OUINS Act; to leading the way to insourcing Ontario One Call’s contact centre; to managing Ontario One Call’s Training and Education efforts across the province.

Jeff has also lead Ontario One Call’s efforts behind the Professional Locate Administrator Course.
